Belén Zurbano Berenguer. Ph.D. in Journalism with an international mention from the University of Seville. Her P.h.D was awarded by the Spanish Society of Journalism and the City Council of Seville. She is a member of the Communications & Social Sciences research group and the Gender, Economy, Politics, and Development Observatory (GEP&DO). She has lectured both nationally and internationally and has had several articles published in prestigious journals. She has taught at the University of the Basque Country/EHU, Moulay Ismail University (Meknès, Morrocco), the University of Colima (Mexico), Pablo de Olavide University, Abdelmalek Essaâdi University (Morrocco) and the University of Malaga, among others. She is currently a professor at the University Centre EUSA, affiliated with the University of Seville. Her main lines of research are communications and gender violence, social media and feminist movements, journalistic discourse and feminist social theory.
Aurora Edo Ibáñez. Degree in Journalism from CEU University Cardenal Herrera (UCH CEU). She is currently a researcher in training at the CEU International School of Doctoral Studies (CEINDO) and a recipient of a Training University Professors grant (FPU) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport. She is a member of the R&D project of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) Ref FFI2013-42443-R and the project of the UCH CEU Ref. Indi 18/01. She is also a member of the research group “Deliberative democracy, Communication, and Citizenship.” She teaches Communication Ethics in Journalism and Advertising and PR degrees at the UCH CEU. She has participated in several international congresses. Journalism deontology, violence against women, the presence of women in communications and social journalism stand out among her lines of research. She has worked as a journalist in the Communication Department of the Municipal Institute of Culture and Youth of Burjassot (Valencia).
