Abstract

This paper aims at testing if a group of 4th grade Spanish secondary students fulfills e-mail tandem reciprocity principle in an e-mail tandem exchange with British students their same age regarding (i) use of mother tongue and foreign language in each e-mail, and (ii) corrections of mistakes made by their partners. Our findings show that Spanish students are a model for their partners regarding the use of both languages in each e-mail whereas the number of corrections decreases throughout the study.
