Abstract

We introduce an experience in competency evaluation related to group work in college students. One of the generic skills to which extensive reference is made in the academic, professional and social field is that of teamwork. This requires the practice of a number of essential skills such as proposing ideas and accepting those of others, managing time well, listening, collaborating, adapting oneself, and so on. And it is in the academic situation, where the concept of teamwork is often expressed as group work indiscriminately.

The dissatisfaction among faculty and students in our center regarding the completion of group work, together with the methodological changes proposed by European Higher Education Area, made us propose the incorporation of support tools such as rubric for orientation and assessment of competences and learning.
