Abstract

China passed a new law abandoning the principle of absolute immunity for foreign states, allowing commercial and arbitration-related claims against them. Lastly, the European Union has responded to anti-arbitration injunctions from Russian courts by introducing sanctions aimed at protecting EU-based arbitration and judicial proceedings from external interference.
