Abstract

Blend –Learning for Rural Education. An alternative for Colombia? The characteristics of the blend learning education method and its application to Colombian rural areas is analyzed here. We begin by finding out the current state of the technologies associated with blend-learning through the compilation and analysis of the bibliography found in national and international institutions working in this field. Results from the research were used to design an educational model for rural education based on the application of blend-learning. Finally, guidelines for the elaboration of an educational model in land planning to be applied in the rural sector of Colombia , adaptable to each particular territory, are proposed.
