Abstract

This proposal represents an attempt to contribute to the educational needs of those children in Infant Education who show a behaviour pattern consistent with a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), from a precautionary perspective, stimulating analysis of and reflection on certain behaviours through the narrative genre, given the educational value of the latter at this stage. Pupils in Infant Education are at a maturitive stage when they demonstrate a natural fascination for listening to stories. We present a proposal based on illustrated narratives, designed and produced by students of the degree in Infant Education at the University of CEU Cardenal Herrera. These narratives not only provide role models through identification with the characters, but they are also a tool for learning about and understanding of ADHD.
