Arbitration conducted by blockchain protocols is a process that, due to its form and peculiarities, does not conform to the usual paradigms on how this ADR operates, in addition to being of very recent development, so it is difficult to anticipate how it will be treated by national courts in recognition and enforcement proceedings. The fact that in Mexico there is a first precedent of enforcement of an award of this kind allows predicting a positive progressive development of this new form of dispute resolution, which despite its advantages entails certain problematic issues.
