Functions of the Editorial Board

  1. Guide the editorial policy of the journal.
  2. Assess that the collaborations correspond to the thematic scope and sections of the journal.
  3. Ensure the scientific quality of the journal.
  4. Approve monographic issues.
  5. Control the quality of the evaluation reports made by the external reviewers of the journal.
  6. Value and thank the evaluations of the works sent to the journal.
  7. Dismiss those who deliver out evaluations of poor quality, disrespectful or delivered after the deadline.
  8. Request texts for publication in the journal, which must also be reviewed by external evaluators.
  9. No member of the Editorial Board may use the data contained in the works received for their own benefit and personal use.
  10. The researchers who are part of the Editorial Board do so in their personal capacity and without receiving remuneration.

 

Functions of the Advisory and Scientific Board

  1. Act as an advisory body of the journal, comprised of professionals and researchers of recognized prestige in disciplines related to the thematic scope of the same.
  2. Submit the editorial policy for evaluation to redirect, if necessary, its contents and lines of research, sections, style and design.
  3. Contribute to the dissemination and promotion of the journal and to the obtainment of originals of excellent quality.
  4. Represent the journal in specialized forums.
  5. Obtain the collaboration of specialists in the various topics of the journal.
  6. In order for the journal to maintain the greatest objectivity possible, the members of the Advisory and Scientific Board will not act as external evaluators, except in cases where their opinions are essential.
  7. Researchers who are part of the Advisory Board do so in their personal capacity and without receiving remuneration.
