Aim of this paper is to investigate some significant short texts belonging to Günther Anders’ literary estate, focussing on the connecting points with the main topics pointed out in his philosophical thinking: the subject of Mankind’s end, the thesis of a discrepancy between the ability to create and the ability to take responsibility, and moreover the dynamic of the emotional illiteracy. Starting from this point, the article intends to emphasize the importance of the (also narrative) phantasy, as a major tool for understanding the reality.
