Peruvian microstory anthologies: notes on their study and formation

The following research aims to analyze the anthological publications of the last sixteen years in Peruvian literature regarding the creation of micro-stories/minifiction, a genre that apparently has begun to be cultivated in recent decades. However, in the various publications that will be analyzed, the inclusion of certain writings dated to the middle and beginning of the twentieth century, and prior to this, intend to go against what is mentioned and known by critics. It is for this reason that, in the review of the existing anthologies, the criteria used by the authors for the collection of the writings and the cataloguing of these as micro-stories / minifiction will be evaluated, at the same time that the differences in the parameters used for the selection of the texts between each anthology will be traced, showing progress or evolution in the understanding of the genre of the micro-story and opening the panorama for a deeper study. of the phenomenon
