ABSTRACT
Throughout the history of humanity, in all languages, traditions, cultures and religions, short forms have maintained a constant presence as units that propagate ideas, oscillating in their delivery between the lyrical, sentimental or imaginary flash and aesthetic, metaphysical or conceptual thought, between singing and telling, between poetry and philosophy, between the surge that opens and the argument that tries to close, drawing a cartography of permeable borders and winding paths that are difficult to navigate. The aphorism opens the possibility of trying out new routes of meaning, exploring the indefinite and the incomprehensible, that which Anaximander designated with the name of ápeiron, and it challenges us and confronts us with the enormous distance that exists between the superficial layer of reality and its deep structure, reminding us that we can think, see, imagine and name the world, life, in another way, against any dominant option.
