Diversidad en el sistema de movilidad de la obra de Rem Koolhaas

El objetivo general de esta investigación es exponer el concepto de flexibilidad en la obra de Rem Koolhaas como consecuencia de la aplicación de la idea de diversidad en la conectividad de sus edificios. Mediante el análisis gráfico y conceptual de las “patentes universales de modernización”, así como de las versiones y actualizaciones de estas, se pretende evidenciar una serie de técnicas proyectuales que confieren mayor adaptabilidad al cambio y capacidad para albergar múltiples usos. Podemos clasificar en tres las técnicas proyectuales de Koolhaas: Diversidad de elección en el sistema de movilidad, consistente en otorgar al usuario la capacidad de elección entre diferentes rutas alternativas; Diversidad de subsistemas de movilidad, consistente en diversificar las partes de los edificios mediante la variación en la configuración del sistema de movilidad; Y diversidad escalar en el sistema de movilidad, consiste en la articulación del sistema de movilidad en dos niveles escalares.
