Resumen

El Monte Putuo, una de las cuatro montañas budistas en China, constituye un ejemplo paradigmático de la estrecha relación entre paisaje natural, microclima marítimo y arquitectura de los templos budistas. Este estudio explora cómo los principales templos se emplazan estratégicamente en respuesta a la orografía y a los patrones estacionales de viento y humedad, y cómo estos factores contribuyen a la atmósfera mística del lugar y a la experiencia de la peregrinación. Siguiendo un macro-meso-micro análisis, se analizan las limitaciones del terreno y el clima (macro), el eje ambiental y perceptivo que representa el camino de peregrinación de los “1000 escalones” (meso) y los nodos de los templos, sus tipologías espaciales y estrategias empleadas (micro). Los resultados muestran una lógica espacial y ambiental coherente en la que la secuencia del camino y la arquitectura de los nodos estructuran el conjunto, ofreciendo un método de lectura replicable en otros paisajes de
