Interactive non-fiction digital storytelling: an analysis of the user experience
Abstract
Interactive non-fiction digital storytelling is an area of recent development at the confluence of diverse fields. The
representation of reality is approached with new, adapted and hybrid formats. It is a changing context, marked by technology, which requires an open approach to integrate participation, immersion, gamification and transmedia strategies. The research addresses the analysis of the current state of the main proposals of interactive non-fiction digital narratives in the forms of documentary and journalism, the evaluation of the user experience in interactive documentary with an experimental design and the identification of spaces for experimentation and trends.
