The praxis of participation in Cuban television production has been limited due to the persistence of top-down and behavioral practices. The expression of this problem is verified in the television production of the spot for the public good of the local television station Centro Norte Televisión. Likewise, it restricts the contribution of the television genre in solving social problems. The general objective of the study was established to establish a system of actions that contribute to the participation in the television production of spots for the public good on the television station. To obtain the results, the survey and the criteria of specialists were used as main methods. All the specialists considered the proposed actions adequate both in terms of being able to and knowing how to participate. The results will allow promoting participation in the television production of spot for the public good consistent with the needs of the territory under study.
