Access, structure and functionalities
Access:
The USPCEU journal platform where the Doxa Comunicación journal is hosted, uses Open Journal Systems (OJS). This tool ensures web accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities, allowing them to access, navigate, and use the content without barriers. To achieve this, PKP audits its style sheets through Access Changes Everything Inc., a Canadian accessibility consulting company, to detect potential accessibility barriers. This is outlined on their website: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/accessibility-statement/en/
This platform adheres to WCAG 2.1 guidelines and conducts regular audits to ensure an accessible and functional environment. Articles are available in accessible formats such as PDF, ePUB, and HTML.
