La Prensa Española contemporánea: el caso de las crónicas de boxeo de Manuel Alcántara en el diario Marca (1967-1978)
Abstract
Manuel Alcántara reprsenta una cumbre en el periodismo español del siglo XX. Alcántara desarrolló en sus crónicas de boxeo en el diario Marca (1967-1978) las técnicas del Nuevo Periodismo que formulara Tom Wolfe. Los once años en que trabajó como cronista en el diario deportivo coincide con la Edad de Oro del boxeo español. Alcántara, que literaturizó la crónica boxística, cubrió los grandes combates nacionales e internacionales de la época de campeones como José Legrá, Pedro Carrasco, Urtain, José Durán o Perico Fernández.
