La representación de la violencia en las series de ficción. Análisis de la ficción estadounidense y española
Abstract
Esta tesis doctoral se centra en estudiar la violencia en la ficción televisiva. A partir de una triangulación metodológica –análisis de contenido, narrativo y comparativo–, se analiza la representación que se hace de la violencia en la primera temporada de cinco series nacionales –Águila Roja, El Internado, Sin tetas no hay paraíso, Hispania y El Barco– y cinco estadounidenses –The Walking Dead, Spartacus, Dirty Sexy Money, Mad Men y Californication– emitidas en España entre 2007 y 2011, así como la relación que se puede establecer entre la violencia existente en los capítulos y los niveles de audiencia registrados en ellos.
