The formats of fast reading as a visual blueprint of the service journalism

The model of press of services has been consolidated in Spain in the last years. Proof of it constitutes the newspaper remodelings like El Periódico de Catalunya or El Correo Español, both happened in 2000. The newspapers of services tray to give answer to the daily preoccupations of their readers. This is reflected not only in the selection of speciiic contents, but in the use of presentation formulas that facilitate to the maximum the perception of the information. The formats of fast reading are located, therefore, in the context of the Service Journalism. This article is based on an research financed by the University of the Basque Country, in which the use of this type of formats in main Spanish newspapers was analyzed.
