La amalgama del cartel del ICAIC (Instituto Cubano de Arte e Industria Cinematográfica) en la gráfica de circunstancias tras la Revolución castrista (1959-1977)
Abstract
En los años sesenta, Latinoamérica se ve envuelta en distintos conflictos políticos y sociales, entre los que destaca, por lo que afecta a nuestra investigación, la Revolución en Cuba en 1959 y el bloqueo económico estadounidense posterior al conflicto. Estos hechos configuran una gráfica singular que alcanza sobre todo al cartel cinematográfico. La presente investigación tiene el propósito de profundizar en el conocimiento sobre el cartel cubano de cine realizado por el ICAIC. El objetivo principal del trabajo es conocer el significado de los elementos que conforman el cartel de cine cubano en su época dorada y la relación de éstos con la vida económica, social y política de Cuba, considerando los grandes cambios ocurridos en el país, así como a sus diseñadores más representativos.
