Childhood's rights in front of TV. Who defends them?

The purpose of this article is to expose the lack of seriousness and irresponsibility of generalist TV channels in Spain, which do not comply with the Self-Regulation Code of Conduct about TV content and children. TV stations have kept the same trend in their programming three years after the Code was approved, with contents that highlight human miseries and that forget the presence of children watching TV. Parents, educators, and public administrations are called to take the appropriat measures to achieve the media alphabetization of children.
